The feminine intuition, is the ability of women to understand the flight situations and solve problems without resorting to rational thought and thoughtful typical male.
And according to a study from the University of Granada, Barcelona’s Pompeu Fabra University and Middle sex University in London, published in the journal Psychoneurosis this ability develops since intrauterine life.
The research, conducted by Antonio Manuel Espin, shows that the female brain is affected in favor of intuition since in the womb because exposed to low amounts of testosterone, the male hormone, which instead ‘instills’ rationality and reflective capacities.
This study, says Giulio Maira, head of the Institute of Neurosurgery of the Catholic University of Rome, offers further evidence of the fact that some differences between male and female brains are established under the influence of sex hormones, testosterone for him and estrogen for her. In particular, this study shows that the influence of hormonal begins even before birth.
Women often let themselves be guided by unconscious mental processes that run on tracks parallel to those of reflective thinking, intuition precisely. The man says Maira, has a brain more rational because the two cerebral hemispheres (left and right) are less related to each other than in the female brain. The woman, accurate, having more connections between them, has a brain more holistic and intuitive.
There are studies, continues Maira, showing how children’s brains is quite similar in the two sexes before sexual maturation, before it is placed under the influence of hormonal differences that appear only with adolescence, when females are abundant estrogen and testosterone in males.
This does not exclude, Maira points out that estrogen exposure may be preconditioned the brain of the female fetus, as well as exposure to testosterone.
Well, as expected it was found that on average women are more intuitive than males. But going to see the relationship index / ring finger, the researchers saw that women with a lower ratio between index and ring fingers (and therefore exposed to higher concentrations of testosterone in uteri) are less intuitive than those with a higher ratio. Sign which in a sense have a brain more masculine.
