Once you discover that you’re pregnant and get over the happy shock face, it’s important that you create a pregnancy to-do-list. A list that will help you do everything you need to do before you are heavy with child and finally delivering.
Below we discuss a few but critical points to include in your to-do-list:
Keep The News To Yourself
You can share the glorious news with your immediate family, however, retain the news between a few people before announcing to the world. It’s difficult to keep the news a secret but try and keep things cool until you’re past the first trimester.
One of the saddest things to share with the world after sharing the good news is that you had a miscarriage.
The first twelve weeks of pregnancy are vulnerable, and chances of a miscarriage are high. Check your to-do-list for a baby announcement as from the 13th week.
Journal Your Pregnancy
Buy a pregnancy journal or log online and create an account on a pregnancy website and start a journal. The journals will ask daily/weekly and monthly questions and will give you ample space to share how you’re feeling, the things you crave and register any changes.
Moreover, a journal well kept will be helpful the next time you get pregnant, and you can compare notes of how different pregnancies treated you.
A journal will also help your doctor keep track of your health and that of the unborn child when you get to the hospital and unable to communicate. [Read more…] about The Pregnancy To-Do-List
